Enlarged Pores

The primary causes behind enlarged pores is excessive sebum production, along with decreased elasticity around the pore and increased skin thickness around hair follicles which make normal pores larger. When oil accumulates inside the pores, and with little dirt or makeup, the pore can become blocked, making it bigger, inflamed, and may become white or blackhead. Skin care preparations prevent that by counteracting those mechanisms at different levels.
